Columbia, SC – The COMET is participating in the Richland Library’s Not-So-Spooky Halloween Stroll on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 from 3p.m. to 5p.m.  Event participants can pick up candy at The COMET bus which will be parked on Hampton Street between Main and Assembly or at the Transit Center on the corner of Sumter St. and Laurel St.
Any passenger wearing a costume will be able to get a free ride. To encourages a safe and fun Halloween night, no masks are allowed on the buses or at the transit center. The costume must also be a visible identifiable costume.

About The COMET
The COMET is a service of the Central Midlands Regional Transit Authority and provides countywide public transit services on 35 fixed routes, two ReFlex services and DART ADA complementary paratransit service throughout Richland and western Lexington Counties. The COMET transports approximately 2.8 million passenger trips a year on a fleet of 81 buses and vans. Transit services are provided under contract with Transdev Service, Inc of Lombard, Illinois.
